Scrappy Trips Around the World Quilt

Scrappy Trips Around the World is a beginner-friendly quilting class that introduces you to a fun and surprisingly simple strip-piecing technique.
Using Fat quarters or a jelly roll, you'll learn how to cut, sew, slice, rearrange, and reassemble your strips to create the classic quilt block. The beauty of this technique is that every block has its own personality making it perfect for showcasing a favorite collection of fabrics or creating a playful scrappy quilt. In class, you'll learn the technique and begin building your blocks, with plenty of guidance along the way.

You'll learn:
- Strip cutting & piecing

- Accurate sewing and pressing

Materials you will need:
- 6 fat quarters or 1 jelly roll
- Neutral color thread
- Rotary cutter, cutting mat and rulers (6 x 24 and 6 x 12)
- Sewing essentials scissors, marking pens, pins, clips etc.
- A working sewing machine
