You will learn how to create your one-of-a-kind functional tote bag. The skill building techniques you will learn will be applicable to a variety of future projects.
You will practice aligning raw edges to sew straight seams, finish inside seams, learn how to secure straps, create boxed corners, and apply an external pocket – applied with beautifully decorative machine stitching.
All fabrics will be provided for you (included in your class fee)
Pre-requisite: Completed Machine Basics with Laurie Alice or has similar sewing experience.
Materials Needed:
- Scissors or snips
- Pins or clips
- Small ruler, tape measure
- Fabric marker, seam ripper
- Point turner, seam gauge
- Thread for machine - variety of bright colors and neutral shades
