Machine Basics 101 with Laurie Alice Vokes

Duration: 2 hrs.

Do you own a sewing a machine or are considering purchasing one? This class is a great way to start! You will learn the basic operation of a sewing machine which includes: a review of the parts, how to properly thread the machine, and how to wind a bobbin.
Once the machine is correctly threaded, there will be some basic skill building. You will learn how to sew a straight seam, learn how to pivot a corner, and how to sew a gentle curve.
We will be providing the machines for this class.  If you have questions regarding something you may already own, the staff at the store will be happy to set up a private lesson to discuss this with you.
All materials will be included.
